About Me

I am a thirty-something ex-military brat
living in Ohio with my husband and son.

The first show I can say I was 'fannish'
about is the X-Files. That was the first
time I went out onto the internet to find
things relating to the show. It was also
the first time I encountered this thing
called 'fan fiction,' though I wasn't
inspired enough to write any.

That came when I found Buffy the
Vampire Slayer. I'd been off of work due
to an injury and was starting to go a little
stir crazy. My husband suggested we
catch up on shows that we'd missed but
would still like to see. The previous summer
it had been Stargate. He suggested Buffy. I haven't looked back since.

Of course Buffy led to Angel which led to Firefly and now I have a love for everything Joss Whedon. Eventually all this led me to a wonderful place called LiveJournal. From there my fannish boundaries expanded.

My original OTP is Buffy/Giles, but I've expanded to far more than that. I've written gen, het and slash. I've written for Buffy, for Angel and am venturing into Stargate fic. I've written crack, puppet porn and crossovers. Most surprising of all is the fact that I've won awards for some of my writing.
